Local Non-CDL Box Truck Route Driver — $24–$27/hr

This route driver role is with our company Security, an on-site document shredding company based in Englewood, NJ, serving northern New Jersey, Rockland County, and parts of Westchester. You'll operate a mobile shredding truck on a set local route, handling confidential paper destruction for business, government, and healthcare clients.

Pay

• $24.00 to $27.00 per hour

What you'll do

• Drive a non-CDL box truck (25,500 lbs, 26 feet) to scheduled client stops across several counties

• Collect paper from shredding bins and load it into the truck

• Hand out a Certificate of Destruction at each stop

• Finish your assigned route daily and drop off shredded paper at a recycling facility

• Check the truck for safety and maintenance issues each day

Requirements

• At least 1 year of box truck experience

• No CDL required, though having one is a plus

• Able to lift bags of paper up to 60 lbs and maneuver a 96-gallon wheeled tote

• Clean driving record

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Comfortable navigating New Jersey roads and highways

• Basic computer skills to manage route schedules and use a barcode scanner

• Must pass a background check and drug screening
