Local DZ Waste Collection Driver — Four-Day Workweek, $25–$35/hr

Join a Greater Toronto Area company focused on recycling and waste diversion as a local DZ truck driver. You'll pick up, haul and help divert non-hazardous solid waste and recyclables from landfills, driving set routes around the GTA.

Pay

This role pays $25.00-$35.00 per hour, with extra overtime opportunities on weekend shifts at 1.5 times your rate.

Schedule

Expect 40-50 hours weekly on a four-day workweek, with some optional shifts available.

What you'll haul

You'll operate heavy waste collection trucks, handling non-hazardous solid waste, organics and recyclable materials, while completing basic data entry in route software and occasional physical tasks like loading and unloading.

Requirements

• Canadian citizenship

• Valid full DZ license with a clean record (no demerit points)

• At least 3 years behind the wheel of a vehicle of similar or larger size, including a 24-foot or longer heavy truck

• A CVOR driver's abstract and a letter of experience from your insurer submitted with your resume

• Comfortable working around waste materials and facilities

• Able to perform physical labor such as lifting and loading
