About this job
Our company is looking for experienced AZ drivers to run regular highway routes between Toronto and Montreal out of their Ontario terminal. This is a full-time, permanent position hauling freight on dedicated lanes with newer equipment.
Pay
- $6,000 to $7,000 per month
What you'll haul
- Freight moving between Toronto and Montreal on regional highway routes
- Company-provided, well-maintained tractors and trailers
What you'll do
- Drive the tractor-trailer safely on highway routes, including overnight trips
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Keep logbooks and shipping paperwork accurate
- Stay in contact with dispatch and operations
- Follow Hours of Service rules and company safety policies
- Represent the company professionally at customer sites
Requirements
- At least 1 year of AZ driving experience
- Valid Ontario AZ licence
- Clean driving record
- Able to work independently and communicate professionally
- Comfortable with overnight highway driving
