About this job
Our company is looking for an AZ licensed driver to run refrigerated loads between Toronto and Montreal. This Canada-only route keeps you busy with over 3,000 miles a week, a tractor assigned just to you, and steady freight.
Pay
- Earnings range from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, based on mileage plus extras
- Paid weekly by direct deposit
- Extra drops and waiting time are compensated
What you'll haul
- Temperature-controlled (reefer) freight
- Runs stay within Canada, no cross-border trips into the U.S.
- You'll drive a Peterbilt, Volvo, Mack, or Freightliner assigned specifically to you
What the job involves
- Running pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
- Keeping reefer units working correctly and watching temperature settings to protect food-grade cargo
- Staying in touch with dispatch and customers
- Handling paperwork, delivery confirmations, and your Hours of Service logs
Requirements
- Valid AZ licence
- At least 3 years of verifiable AZ driving experience
- At least 25 years old
- Clean driving history, with no accidents or tickets anywhere, personal or commercial
- Reefer experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Self-motivated, professional, and reliable on the road
