About this job
Our company is looking for a solo OTR driver based near East Texas for long-haul runs with a predictable pattern of time out followed by time home. Freight is mostly refrigerated with occasional dry van loads, all no-touch.
Home time
- Expect to be out 2-3 weeks at a stretch, followed by 2-3 days off
- Your route length and drop-off points depend on where you're based
What you'll haul
- Mostly temperature-controlled freight, with some dry van loads mixed in
- No-touch freight
- You'll stay in regular contact with customers and your fleet manager
Equipment
- Freightliner tractors no older than three years
- Automatic transmissions
- 53-foot trailers
- Up-to-date safety technology on board
Pay
- Paid per mile (CPM), with weekly earnings estimated between $1,202 and $1,512 for drivers with 1+ years of experience
- Weekly Safe and On Time bonus of up to 3%
- $1,000 sign-on bonus tied to the holiday promotion
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 21 years old
- A minimum of 3 months of recent Class A CDL driving experience
