Local Delivery Driver — Home Daily, $19.75–$28.75/hr

Medline runs MedTrans, its own fleet of more than 2,100 trucks, moving medical supplies to homes and businesses out of over 50 distribution centers nationwide. As a Delivery Driver in Katy, TX, you'll drive a parcel van or straight truck on local routes, getting products to customers safely and on time.

Pay

• $19.75 to $28.75 per hour, depending on your location, experience, education and skills.

Home time

• Local routes mean you're home every day.

What you'll haul

• Medical supplies and equipment, loaded at the Medline facility and delivered to commercial and residential customers.

What the job involves

• Loading and securing freight in your van or truck before heading out.

• Driving between the facility and several customer stops per route, following all safety rules and gear requirements.

• Unloading and handing off deliveries, answering customer questions and providing paperwork as needed.

• Staying in touch with dispatch about any route or schedule changes.

• Logging your trips and cargo per state and federal rules.

• Checking your vehicle before driving to confirm it's safe and fueled.

Requirements

• Valid US driver's license; a Class B Commercial Learner's Permit if your state requires one.

• Able to meet federal and state rules for driving commercial vehicles.

• Clean driving record, no serious violations.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred, not required.
