Local Courier Driver — $23.38/hr

Our company needs a courier driver based out of Dorval, QC for package pick-up and delivery on a set route. The role is local and paid hourly, with flexible shifts, but you'll need to work at least 4 shifts a month.

Pay

• $23.38 per hour

What you'll do

• Drive your assigned route, picking up and dropping off packages safely

• Plan your route and get your van loaded for a smooth run

• Make sure labels and paperwork meet service requirements before packages go out

• Keep dispatch and tracking systems updated with accurate info

• Field customer questions on shipping options and service

• Pitch in now and then with loading/unloading aircraft or containers, plus sorting and scanning

Requirements

• Valid driver's licence (class 5, G, or 1/AZ)

• No more than 2 infractions or accidents on your driving record over the last 24 months

• High school diploma or equivalent

• A year of experience working with customers is a plus

• Comfortable working in both English and French

• Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs on your own and handling packages up to 150 lbs with the help of equipment

• Pass the pre-placement driver assessment
