Local Courier Delivery Driver — $24/hr

Our company is hiring a casual courier in Richmond, BC to handle package pickup and delivery on an assigned local route, with a minimum of 4 shifts per month.

Pay

• $24 an hour

What you'll haul

• Packages on an assigned local delivery and pickup route

• Occasional aircraft or container loading, unloading, sorting and scanning as needed

Responsibilities

• Plan your route and load your van for efficient stops

• Confirm packages meet company shipping standards and labeling rules

• Use onboard tracking and dispatch systems to log accurate data

• Represent the company professionally and keep a neat appearance

• Answer customer questions about shipping options and requirements

• Flag sales opportunities to the sales team

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (class 5, G, or 1/AZ) with a clean record

• No more than two infractions or accidents in the last 24 months

• High school diploma or equivalent

• One year of customer-facing work experience preferred

• Able to lift 70 lbs and handle packages up to 150 lbs with equipment

• Must pass the company's driver assessment and training

• Quebec-based applicants must be bilingual in French and English
