Irving Materials Incorporated has been supplying ready-mix concrete and construction materials since 1946, and they're looking for dependable drivers to join their local delivery team in Sullivan, IN. This is a full-time, home-every-night role delivering concrete to residential and industrial job sites.
Pay
- Starts at $28.30 an hour
- Daily overtime kicks in after 8 hours worked, plus Saturday overtime
Home time
- Local routes only, no overnight trips
What you'll haul
- Ready-mix concrete delivered to residential and industrial locations
Requirements
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience preferred; ready-mix delivery experience is a plus
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Bilingual or Spanish-speaking ability is a plus
Responsibilities
- Drive ready-mix trucks safely to delivery sites
- Check your vehicle daily and handle minor upkeep, flagging bigger issues to your supervisor
- Keep the plant area clean and follow all safety guidelines
- Treat customers professionally and keep deliveries on schedule
