Local CDL-A Truck Driver — No-Touch Freight, 6 On/2 Off

This Laredo-based role puts you on regional dry van runs across the South Texas triangle, with freight that's no-touch and a schedule built around six working days followed by two off.

Pay

• Weekly earnings average around $1,300, with a guaranteed minimum of $220 per day

• Extra incentive pay tied to mileage performance

Home time

• Expect your days off weekly, with chances to get home even more frequently

• Both day and night shifts are run, and you may need to work certain holidays

What you'll haul

• Dry van trailers moving between Houston, San Antonio, Laredo, McAllen, Brownsville, and Harlingen

• Customer base varies rather than sticking to one dedicated account

• Loads come as drop-and-hook, live pickups/deliveries, or trailers already loaded for you

• A hazmat endorsement is viewed favorably, though not mandatory

Requirements

• Current Class A CDL

• At least six months of hands-on tractor-trailer driving experience

• A clean record behind the wheel

• Current DOT medical certification

• SAP program drivers will not be considered

• Flexibility to run day or night and work occasional holidays

• Compliance with hours-of-service and safety rules
