Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily

Our company in Paris, TX needs a CDL-A truck driver to haul materials and equipment to local job sites. This is full-time, year-round local work, and you'll be home daily.

Pay

The posting lists two different pay figures: a weekly take-home average of $1,500 to $1,700, and an hourly rate of $35.00 to $50.00. Actual pay depends on experience.

Schedule

• Local routes with year-round work

• At least 40 hours per week

• Report and load on time for every scheduled run

What you'll haul

You'll transport materials and equipment to job sites, so you should be comfortable loading, unloading and handling various types of equipment.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A

• At least 2 years of related driving experience

• Clean driving record

• Current DOT medical card and ability to pass a drug test

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and follow all state, federal and company safety rules

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections with proper DOT paperwork

• Keep in touch with dispatch and stay professional with customers and coworkers

• Check tire pressure, fluid levels and handle minor truck upkeep, reporting bigger issues to your supervisor

• Keep the truck clean and presentable
