About this job
Run daily routes out of the Walmart Distribution Center in Casa Grande, AZ, delivering to retail stores within 225 miles of the DC. You'll be home every day, and the freight is live-unload only, so you never touch the loads.
Pay
- Mileage Band Pay plus guaranteed Stop Pay and Detention Pay add up to multiple income streams each week.
Home time
- Home daily after every shift, working out of the Casa Grande yard.
What you'll haul
- Local/regional loops to retail stores, staying within a 225-mile radius of the Casa Grande DC.
- You'll run 8 to 15 loads a week, averaging 3 to 4 store stops per load.
- All freight is live-unloaded by store receivers, so there's no touch freight for you.
Equipment
- Late-model, company-maintained day cabs with automatic transmissions.
- This is a slip-seat operation, and trucks stay at the yard.
Schedule
- Retail operations run around the clock, so you need to be open to any assigned shift, including weekends and overnight or early-morning dispatches.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable solo Class A driving experience.
- You'll need your own reliable transportation to get to the Casa Grande yard daily.
- Must live within 50 miles of Casa Grande, AZ.
- Must pass a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
