Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, Average $95,680/Year + $10,000 Sign-On

Drive a local Class A CDL route out of Newburgh, NY, delivering parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. The freight is no-touch (live load and unload), and you'll be home every day.

Pay

• Home daily

• Off on Tuesdays and Saturdays

• Typically 50 to 60 hours a week

What you'll haul

• Multi-stop runs delivering parts and supplies to auto dealerships

• No-touch freight, live loaded and unloaded

• About 2 stops and 8 drop-and-hooks weekly

• Late-model trucks maintained by Penske

• Designed for driver comfort and safety

• Inward- and outward-facing cabin cameras

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, with a driver's license from your state of residence and U.S. domicile

• Hazmat endorsement needed once hired; Penske reimburses the cost of getting it

• Current or obtainable non-excepted interstate DOT medical card

• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, or 2 years in the past 5

• No more than two moving violations or accidents on your 3-year driving record

• English proficiency, as required under federal DOT rules

• Must pass a background check and drug screening, and complete Penske's application process

• Able to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally, plus frequent standing, walking and climbing in and out of the truck and cargo area
