Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, 60¢–70¢/Mile

This local CDL-A position out of Elizabeth, NJ has you hauling no-touch container freight through PA, NY, and CT, with a predictable night shift and a trip back home at the end of every run.

Pay

• Pay runs between 60¢ and 70¢ per mile, rising 1 cent each year up to a 10-year cap

• Drivers typically average $1,500 to $1,900 weekly, roughly $78,000 to $94,000 a year

• You'll also earn $20 for each stop

• Expect to log 2,100 to 2,500 miles most weeks

Home time

• You return home after each shift

• Routes run overnight

• 100% no-touch container loads moving through the PA, NY, and CT region

• Steady, year-round freight with regular delivery runs

Equipment

• Late-model day cabs (2022 or newer Freightliner Cascadia and Kenworth T680) paired with 53-foot box trailers

• All automatic transmissions

• You'll be assigned your own truck, though it must stay at the yard rather than go home with you

Orientation

• A single day of orientation, available online

• $125 bonus included in your first paycheck

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience

• At least 21 years old

• Current DOT medical card

• Clean pre-employment drug and alcohol screen

• MVR meeting DOT and company standards

• Live within 50 miles of Elizabeth, NJ

• Authorized to work in the US
