Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, $33.96/hr + OT

Drive a local route out of Edison, NJ hauling medical supplies to hospitals, clinics and surgical centers, with backhaul stops across NJ, NY and PA. You'll be home every day and behind the wheel of a late-model, comfort-spec truck with inward and outward facing cameras.

Pay

• $33.96 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours

• Averages $83000 per year

• Paid every Friday

• Referral bonus up to $5,000 per referral

Schedule

• 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts

• Thursdays off

• Start time around 3:00 AM

• Next week's schedule handed out the week before

• Typically 40 to 50 hours per week

What you'll haul

• Medical supplies for hospitals, clinics and surgical centers

• A combination of deliveries, drop-and-hook, and backhaul pickups

• Touch freight, moved with electric or manual pallet jacks, carts and totes

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, with a driver's license from your state of residence and U.S. domicile

• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card, held or obtainable

• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, or 2 years within the past 5 years

• No more than two moving violations or accidents on your 3-year driving record

• English language proficiency, as required under federal rule 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)

• Able to pass a background check (employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening

• Able to reliably work the assigned schedule and location, lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally, and safely get in and out of the cab and cargo area
