About this job
MSLR Logistics is hiring local CDL-A drivers for a home-daily position in Islandia, NY. Routes run about 5-6 hours a day, with unloading at the tail of a 48ft trailer using a manual jack and liftgate, and full training is provided.
Pay
- Flat rate of $300 per day
- Overtime pay of $37.5 per hour for anything beyond 8 hours
- Workers typically bring home $1500-$1700 a week on average
- $2500 bonus for signing on
Home time
- You'll be back home every day
- Weekend shifts are part of the rotation, with days off falling on Mon-Tue, Tue-Wed or Wed-Thu
- All shifts start in the morning, so plan to arrive 30 minutes to an hour before your gate or start time
What you'll haul
- 48ft trailers equipped with liftgates
- You'll unload freight to the tail of the trailer using a manual pallet jack
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL and at least 21 years old
- Able to pass a DOT drug screening
- Solid work history
- At least 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years
