About this job
Our company is looking for a local CDL-A driver to run routes in and around Coppell, TX, handling heavy-touch medical supply freight with a straight truck and dry van equipment.
Pay
- Earn $29.50 per hour, paid weekly
- Expect 50+ hours per week
Home time
- You'll be home every day
- Schedule runs Monday through Friday, with a start time that varies
What you'll haul
- Medical supplies requiring heavy-touch handling
- You'll use a pallet jack and stair walkers as needed
- Trucks are 36 months old or newer, with 24/7 roadside support and access to over 800 maintenance locations nationwide
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL with the right endorsements for the role
- Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, 2 years in the last 5, or 5 years in the last 10
- Must pass a drug test, background and motor vehicle check, DOT physical, and a road test
- TWIC card is a plus but not mandatory; our company will reimburse the cost
- Able to follow instructions and apply relevant laws and procedures
Responsibilities
- Stay compliant with applicable transportation laws and rules
- Spot and reduce safety risks on the job
- Keep accurate logs and records
- Help load and unload freight when the customer requires it
