About this job
Our company' Rahway, NJ 137 terminal needs a local tanker driver who can be home every day. You'll run hazmat tanker loads close to home, with only the occasional overnight away.
Pay
- Earn $31 an hour, jumping to $45.50 an hour once you pass 50 hours in a week
- Quarterly bonuses for safety and performance
- Refer a driver and collect $3000 within 60 days, plus 5% of what they earn
Home time
- Back home daily, with rare overnight trips
Equipment
- Trucks equipped with a road-facing event recorder and collision avoidance system
- Governed at 68 mph both on the pedal and on cruise control
- Company provides thorough hazmat safety training
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with both tanker and hazmat endorsements
- TWIC card on hand
- Minimum one year behind the wheel of a Class A tractor-trailer
