Local CDL-A Tanker Driver — Home Daily, $1,300–$1,500/wk

Our company in Cottondale, AL is looking for an experienced tanker driver for local pickups and deliveries. You'll be home every day, running set daytime hours.

Schedule

• Weekdays, 7am-5pm

• About 50 hours per week

• Home every day, local routes only

Pay

• $1,300-1,500 per week, no hourly cap

• Pay is based on your experience and work ethic

• Extra pay opportunities: bonuses, loading/unloading pay, performance bonus, safety bonus, and a yearly bonus

What you'll haul

• You'll run a tanker truck, operating the PTO pump and load/shutoff valves

• Duties include loading and unloading materials with the right equipment, plus pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks

• You'll stay in contact with dispatch, customers, and teammates throughout your shifts

Requirements

• Class A CDL with tanker endorsement; hazmat endorsement is not required

• At least 2 years of truck driving experience, including tanker work

• Comfortable driving manual transmissions (10, 13, and 18 speed)

• Clean driving record, no major violations or accidents

• Knowledge of commercial driving rules and safety practices

• Able to navigate with GPS or maps, and strong on attention to detail and time management
