Local CDL-A Shuttle Driver — Home Daily, $24.93/hr

Our company needs a Class A CDL driver for local shuttle and yard runs out of Williamson, NY. You'll run solo, no-touch freight, and be home every day.

Pay

• $24.93 per hour

• Weekly average of $1558

• Paid weekly

• About 55 hours per week

• Paid training

Schedule

• Monday through Friday

• Shift runs 4 PM to 4 AM

What you'll haul

• Solo runs between Williamson, Macedon, and North Chili

• Shuttle and yard routes

• Day cab tractors

• 53' dry van trailers (shuttle and yard) and tanker trailers (yard)

• No-touch freight: manufactured food products

• our company trains you on all required equipment

• Automatic-only drivers cannot be accommodated

• Trucks are 36 months old or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance and access to over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide; company drivers handle their own fueling

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with the needed endorsements

• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years

• Must pass our company's drug test, background check, motor vehicle check, DOT physical, and road test

• Previous employer drug and alcohol verification covering the last 3 years

• Able to follow instructions and apply relevant laws, rules, and procedures

• Some assignments may require extra screening such as employment/education checks or customer-specific badging

What you'll do

• Follow applicable federal, state, and company safety rules and standards

• Spot and address safety hazards

• Keep accurate logs and records

• Load or unload freight if the customer requires it

• Other duties as assigned
