Local CDL-A Septic Service Driver — $25/hr, Home Daily

This role combines CDL-A driving with hands-on septic and environmental service work in the Hueytown, AL area, based out of Advance Plumbing & Septic of Birmingham, part of Liquid Environmental Solutions. You'd run local routes and be home every day, working Monday through Friday on 10-12 hour shifts totaling 55-60 hours a week.

Pay

• Starting at $25.00 per hour, plus consistent overtime

Home time

• Home daily, with local routes only

• Occasional scheduled evening work for certain customers

What you'll do

• Drive vacuum trucks, pump trucks and service vehicles (manual and automatic)

• Pump out septic tanks and grease traps

• Check septic systems for visible problems and report them to customers

• Help deliver equipment and support installation jobs

• Dig by hand when needed to reach septic tank lids

• Work safely around sewage and human waste

• Keep up with paperwork and safety/compliance steps

• About 40% of the job is driving; the other 60% is physical labor, so this isn't a simple drop-and-go route

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Tanker endorsement (must have before starting)

• At least 1 year of commercial or military driving experience

• Comfortable driving a 10-speed manual transmission

• Able to pass a DOT medical exam

• Able to lift 55+ lbs and handle physical labor all day

• Willing to work in septic/wastewater conditions

• Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse

• Authorized to work in the US
