Local CDL-A Night Driver — $400/Shift, Home Daily

TSL South Inc needs Class A drivers for a steady night-time dedicated lane between Houston and McAllen, TX. You'll run drop-and-hook freight in a new automatic day cab and be back home after every shift.

The run

• Dispatched out of the yard at 5880 W Fuqua St, Houston, TX 77085

• Fixed round trip between Houston and McAllen, driven overnight

• Typically one stop per trip, with a possible second stop later on

• Drop-and-hook only, so you won't be loading or unloading freight

• Newer automatic-transmission day cabs fitted with Samsara ELDs and in-cab safety cameras

Pay

• $400 per shift, roughly $30 an hour

• 3 to 4 shifts weekly, putting typical weekly earnings around $1,200 to $1,600

• Direct deposit weekly via ADP

Home time

• Back home after each shift on a repeating weekly schedule

Requirements

• Minimum age 21

• Class A CDL with at least one year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience

• Clean driving record and solid DAC history

• No active CDL suspension or revocation

• Must clear a DOT physical, background screening, and drug test

• Sufficient English skills to communicate, read road signs, and complete paperwork

• Comfortable with smartphone tools like GPS and the Samsara driver app

• Willing to log hours accurately, follow HOS rules, and complete pre/post-trip DVIRs

• Fine with overnight driving and being recorded by in-cab cameras
