Local CDL-A Night Driver — $0.53–$0.58/Mile + $500 Sign-On

Our company in Montgomery, AL is looking for CDL-A drivers to run nighttime retail delivery routes, Monday through Friday, with weekends off from Friday night until Monday evening.

Pay

• Mileage rate of $0.53 - $0.58 per mile based on experience

• Hourly rate of $20.00 - $21.25 depending on experience, paid when loading or unloading runs past an hour, or for other assigned duties

• $25 paid per stop

• Typical weekly earnings land between $1,550 and $1,650 for a complete workweek, covering roughly 1,500 - 2,000 miles

• $500 bonus for new hires

• Referral bonus up to $3,000, paid out over time

Home time

• Dispatched nightly between 10 PM and midnight, Sunday through Thursday nights

• Finished for the weekend after your Friday night run, back out Monday evening

What you'll haul

• Deliveries go straight into retail store locations using 28 to 53-foot trailers equipped with liftgates

• You'll handle 5 to 6 stops per run, unloading with an electric pallet jack (a manual one is on hand as a backup)

• Also responsible for picking up returned freight from stores

• Trucks are 2020 Freightliner Cascadias with automatic transmissions and tandem axles; both sleeper and day cab configurations are used

Requirements

• Current Class A CDL

• HazMat endorsement is mandatory

• At least one year of tractor-trailer driving experience

• Able to work overnight shifts Monday through Friday

• Comfortable using electric pallet jacks for in-store deliveries

• Capable of managing multiple stops per run, including both deliveries and pickups
