About this job
Our company, a well-established LTL carrier, needs a Class A driver with a Hazmat endorsement for local pickup and delivery of general freight in Elmira, NY. This is a permanent, home-daily role with weekends off.
Pay
- $31.00 - $32.50 per hour
- After 6 months, you can earn up to an extra $9000 a year through a safe-driving bonus
Home time
- Home every day
- Monday through Friday schedule, weekends off
What you'll haul
- General freight on local routes with frequent stops for loading and unloading
Requirements
- Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement
- Comfortable making frequent, time-sensitive stops and handling freight
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to keep pace in a busy work environment
