This local intermodal position runs out of Mechanicville, NY, keeping you within about a 250-mile radius and back home every day. You'll slip-seat company equipment that stays at the ramp while you're off, hauling mostly no-touch freight with no NYC runs.

Pay

• Average annualized earnings of $78,000, based on recent driver activity

• $0.46 to $0.52 per mile

• $5,000 sign-on bonus, available for a limited time

• Detention pay of $23 to $28 per hour after the first hour

• $40 per stop for drop and hook

• $65 per stop for live load or unload

• $45 per stop when you load or unload yourself

• Extra pay available for other qualifying activities, including Hazmat loads if you hold the endorsement (not required)

• $200 per day during new-hire training

• $210 per day for holiday work

Home time

You're back home daily. The truck stays at the ramp during your days off. Thanksgiving and New Year's may require work, but Christmas is off.

Mostly no-touch intermodal freight, operating within roughly 250 miles of Mechanicville, NY. Onsite management and maintenance support the operation, and orientation is paid and done online.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Able to qualify to run a tractor-trailer

• Able to report to Mechanicville, NY each day

• Willing to work within about a 250-mile radius

• Comfortable with a slip-seat setup

• Able to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and background/MVR check

• Willing to work the scheduled shifts, including holidays when needed

• Hazmat endorsement not required, but it opens up extra pay opportunities
