Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver — Home Daily, $78,000 Avg Pay

Run intermodal freight out of Mechanicville, NY on a local, home-daily schedule. You'll work a slip-seat setup in company equipment that stays at the ramp when you're off, hauling mostly no-touch loads within about 250 miles of the yard. No NYC runs.

Pay

• Average annualized earnings of $78,000 based on recent driver activity

• Mileage rate of $0.46-$0.52 CPM

• $5,000 sign-on bonus for a limited time

• Detention pay of $23-$28/hr after the first hour

• $40/stop for drop & hook

• $65/stop for live load/unload

• $45/stop if you load/unload yourself

• Extra activity-based pay opportunities

• $200/day during new-hire training

• $210/day for holiday work

• Hazmat endorsement isn't required, but you can earn more on loads that need one if you're certified

Home time

You're back home every day. The truck is left at the ramp during your days off.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Qualified to operate a tractor-trailer

• Able to report daily to Mechanicville, NY

• Comfortable working within about a 250-mile radius

• Comfortable with slip-seating

• Able to pass DOT physical, drug screen, background/MVR and other standard employment checks

• Willing to work the assigned schedule, including some holidays (likely working Thanksgiving and New Year's, off for Christmas)
