Local CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Driver — $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Reworld is hiring a local CDL-A driver to haul hazardous and non-hazardous waste between company sites and customer locations in the Niagara Falls, NY area. You'll run a mix of equipment, including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flatbeds, on a local/regional schedule. A $5,000 sign-on bonus comes with this role.

Pay

• Base pay for this role runs $55,704.00 to $76,646.00 per year, depending on experience, skills, location and other factors.

• $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, local and regional runs.

• Shifts run 10 to 12 hours.

• Some weekend overtime may come up depending on workload.

What you'll haul

• Hazardous and non-hazardous waste moving between Reworld facilities and client sites.

• Equipment includes vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans and flatbeds.

• You'll placard vehicles correctly per DOT rules and secure all loads before and during transit.

What you'll do

• Run all equipment safely and follow DOT and company rules.

• Hit scheduled pickup and delivery appointments.

• Keep manifests, job sheets, e-logs, timesheets, expense reports and inspection reports up to date.

• Do thorough pre-trip and post-trip checks on tires, lights, brakes, fluids and safety gear.

• Take on other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• CDL Class A with a Tanker endorsement.

• At least 21 years old (interstate driving requirement).

• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.

• Clean driving record.

• Comfortable using a tablet for electronic logs.

• Hazmat endorsement strongly preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Must meet DOT medical certification standards and be able to climb, bend, lift and secure hoses and equipment, and get in and out of the truck multiple times per shift.
