Local CDL-A Grocery Delivery Driver — Home Daily, $1,500–$1,700/wk

Our company is hiring local Class A CDL drivers to run grocery delivery routes out of their Islandia, NY distribution center, serving stores across NYC and Long Island. You'll be back home every day on a steady, repeating weekly schedule.

Pay

• Flat daily guarantee of $300 for an 8-hour shift

• Overtime pays $37.50 per hour beyond 8 hours

• Typical weekly take-home runs $1,500 to $1,700

• $2,500 bonus for signing on

• Paid five-day work week

Home time

• You're home every day, working AM shifts

• Shifts start early, with dispatch between 2:00 and 4:00 AM, so plan to arrive 30-60 minutes beforehand

• Routes follow a fixed weekly pattern that includes weekend work, with two weekdays off in a row

• You'll pick your preferred schedule pattern during the hiring process; schedules stay open to change until October 5th

What you'll haul

• 48-foot reefer trailers fitted with liftgates, carrying grocery products

• Tailgate-style deliveries where you use a manual pallet jack to bring freight to the back of the trailer for store crews to unload

Requirements

• Current Class A CDL

• At least 12 months of provable Class A driving experience

• Live within about 40 minutes of Islandia, NY

• Comfortable using a liftgate and manual pallet jack (they'll train you)
