Local CDL-A Flatbed Driver — Home Daily, $30.60/hr

Our company is looking for a Class A CDL flatbed driver based in Hammond, IN, running solo routes through the Midwest and getting home every day.

Pay

• $30.60 per hour, paid weekly

• Overtime kicks in after 40 hours

• Typical schedule runs 55+ hours a week

• Per diem of $125 a night, occurring about 1-2 nights per quarter

• Paid training included

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, weekends off

• Start time around 5:00 AM

What you'll haul

• 53' flatbed trailer behind a sleeper tractor less than 36 months old

• No-touch loads of steel, metals, channels, tubes, beams and plates (no coils)

• You'll handle chaining, using binders and tarping for securement

• Routes cover Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Ohio and Wisconsin

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with required endorsements

• At least 6 months of flatbed experience

• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, 2 years in the last 5, or 5 years in the last 10

• Automatic transmission experience is accepted

• Must pass a drug screen, background and motor vehicle check, DOT physical, and road test
