Local CDL-A Equipment Delivery Driver — Home Every Night

Our company is looking for a Class A CDL driver in Odessa, TX to deliver and pick up equipment for customers. This is a local route, so you'll be home every night.

What you'll haul

• Construction equipment, including semi-trucks and low boy trailers, classified under DOT CDL-A

What you'll do

• Pick up and drop off equipment at customer sites

• Follow safety rules for the equipment you're hauling, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

• Keep accurate driver's logs and perform pre-trip inspections

• Recommend extra equipment or supplies customers might need

• Act as a point of contact for customers and represent the company well

• Take on other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving history

• High school diploma or GED

• At least 2 years of DOT-regulated commercial driving experience

• Strong customer service, teamwork and communication skills

• Able to lift up to 45 lbs on a regular basis

• Working knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving practices

• Strong focus on safety
