Local CDL-A Driver — Reefer Freight, Touch Freight

Our company in Edison, NJ needs a reliable CDL-A driver for local runs hauling refrigerated freight. You'll run an 18-wheeler with a reefer trailer, keep the cargo at the right temperature, and pitch in with warehouse work when you're not on the road.

What you'll haul

• Refrigerated goods in an 18-wheeler with a reefer trailer, on local delivery routes

• You'll sometimes load and unload the trailer yourself, including handling freight inside the warehouse

• A forklift is used to help load and unload

• When there are no deliveries scheduled, you'll take on warehouse duties

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Hands-on experience driving a tractor-trailer with a refrigerated trailer

• Current DOT medical card, where required

• Clean enough driving record to meet company standards

• Familiarity with the local delivery area and routes

• Comfortable with basic truck and trailer mechanical checks

• Able to load, unload and secure freight on your own

• Know how to handle refrigerated goods and keep temperatures in range

• Must follow DOT, FMCSA and company safety rules

• Able to run a forklift, or willing to get trained on one

• Strong safety mindset and good customer service skills

• Spanish/English bilingual is a plus
