About this job
This is a local, home-daily CDL A driving job based out of Opelika, AL, hauling no-touch freight on routes to Atlanta, Birmingham, and southern Georgia. Both trainee and experienced drivers are welcome to apply.
Pay
- 5-day schedule: $1,200 per week
- 6-day schedule: $1,300–$1,550 per week
- Short-haul pay: $40 for loads under 51 miles
- Stop pay: $10 per stop on the 5-day schedule; $10 for the first stop and $15 for each additional stop on the 6-day schedule
Home time
You'll be home daily.
What you'll haul
No-touch freight, averaging 1,200–1,800 miles per week, with some wait time at customer locations and occasional backhauls.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- No endorsements required
- Must live within 40 miles of Opelika, AL 36801
- Available for day or night shifts
- Weekend work required; holiday work may be required
- Trainee and experienced drivers considered
