Local CDL-A Driver — Home Daily, Average $1,500/Week

Drive for a dedicated local grocery account based around Johnstown and Albany, NY. Most routes get you home daily, though you may occasionally be out overnight. Freight is no-touch and this is a slip-seat operation.

Pay

• Average weekly pay of $1,500

• Paid by the mile, plus $10 for the first stop and $15 for each stop after that

• $25 extra for loads under 50 miles

• Expect roughly 2,200 miles per week

• No bonus pay offered

Home time

• Mostly home daily, with occasional overnight runs

• Choice of 5- or 6-day schedules, with both day and night routes

• Holidays are worked

• Specific scheduling can be worked out with the company

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Open to both experienced first-seat drivers and trainees
