About this job
Our company needs a CDL-A driver in the Bowie, TX area to run local waste-hauling routes from transfer stations to landfills. You'll be home every day with a steady schedule and a sign-on bonus.
Pay
- $1,500 weekly average
- $1,000 sign-on bonus
- Paid holidays, vacation and orientation
Home time and schedule
- Home every day
- Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as needed
- Three runs per day
- Shifts can run longer than 10 hours
What you'll haul
- Bulk waste transported from local transfer stations to landfills
- You'll position trailers on a tipper and unhook them before dumping the load
Requirements
- At least 2 years of recent CDL-A experience
- Steady work history
- Clean driving record
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- Must complete pre- and post-trip DVIR inspections and follow all transportation safety rules
- Report any accidents, injuries or property damage right away to Operations and Safety Managers
