About this job
Our company is looking for an experienced CDL-A driver for a full-time local route based in Batavia, NY, where you'll be home every day while running mostly no-touch freight with regular trips into Canada.
Pay
- $33.00 per hour for your first 40 hours each week
- $49.50 per hour for overtime after 40 hours
- Drivers typically log 55–65 hours per week, so there's real overtime upside
- Paid weekly with no holdback
Home time
- You're home every day on this route
- Runs are on an AM shift with steady, year-round freight
What you'll haul
- About 95% no-touch freight
- Local and regional lanes starting out of Batavia, including scheduled runs across the Canadian border
- Some yard jockey duties may come up occasionally
- Equipment is late-model and well maintained
Requirements
- At least 3 years of recent experience driving a CDL-A tractor-trailer
- At least 1 year of experience hauling loads into Canada
- A valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card
- An Enhanced Driver's License or valid passport, since the route crosses into Canada
- No more than 3 moving violations over the last 3 years, with a solid safety record
- Able to commute reliably to Batavia, NY
