Local CDL-A Driver — $27/hr

This local CDL-A driving role with Performance Team (a our company company) in Logan Township, NJ pays $27.00/hr to start, with two shift options available.

Pay

• $27.00/hr is the anticipated starting rate and may be adjusted based on market conditions and location.

Schedule

• Tuesday through Saturday, beginning at 5:00pm, or

• Sunday through Thursday, beginning at 4:00pm

What you'll haul

• LTL/city freight delivered to customers and distribution centers along assigned routes

What you'll do

• Drive a Class A tractor-trailer safely to complete deliveries on schedule

• Complete pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections

• Load, secure, and protect cargo for transit, and help load/unload when needed

• Keep accurate logs, delivery paperwork, and inspection records

• Stay in contact with dispatch about routes, delays, and any vehicle issues

• Follow DOT rules, hours-of-service limits, and site safety requirements

• Report any accidents, violations, damage, or unsafe conditions right away

• Represent the company professionally with customers and partners

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record

• Current DOT medical certification

• LTL or city driving background preferred

• Solid grasp of DOT and hours-of-service compliance

• Comfortable handling freight and lifting up to 75 lbs when needed

• English fluency for speaking, reading, and writing

• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
