About this job
SPR Logistics is hiring a solo Class A CDL driver to run nighttime FedEx Ground linehaul routes out of the Houston terminal, with manual transmission trucks only. This is a home-daily position with a steady weekly schedule.
Pay
- Starting pay up to $27 per hour
- Expected 50-60 hours per week
- Possible semi-annual raises based on performance
- Paid at full rate during training
Home time
- Home every day
- Dispatched at night, between 8 and 10 PM
What you'll haul
- FedEx Ground freight on dedicated solo linehaul runs from the Houston terminal
Requirements
- At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or equivalent alternative experience paths
- Clean driving record with no accidents or tickets in the past 3 years, and no at-fault fatality accidents ever
- Minimum age 21
- Valid DOT medical card
- CDL-A license with Doubles/Triples endorsement
- Background check, MVR screening, Clearinghouse registration, and drug test
- Comfortable driving manual transmission trucks
