Local CDL-A Drayage Driver — Home Daily, $1,400–$1,800/Week

NFI is hiring a local CDL-A driver for port drayage work out of Edison, NJ, running no-touch container freight to Eastern PA and getting you home every day.

Pay

• Average weekly earnings of $1,400 to $1,800

• $2,500 bonus for signing on

• Paid standby time while waiting at the port

Home time

• Local routes with daily home time

What you'll haul

• No-touch port container freight

• Access to NFI's own chassis pool and a late-model, well-kept fleet (the company self-maintains roughly 60% of its trucks and trailers)

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL issued by your home state

• At least one year of tractor-trailer experience; drayage background a plus

• Good references from previous employers

• Must meet DOT qualification standards

• TWIC card and Sea Link required

• Able to regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs

• Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, reaching and getting in/out of the cab and trailer
