About this job
Our company is looking for a local CDL-A driver to handle a set delivery route near Katy, TX, hauling food and beverage products straight to customers.
What you'll haul
- Meats, produce, frozen items, groceries, dry goods and other supplies
- Deliveries made by hand to customer locations along your route
Home time
- Drivers typically run daily routes and return home each night
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean enough record to meet insurance standards
- Able to pass required employment screening
- Comfortable reading and speaking English for signage, paperwork and communicating with customers
- Physically able to repeatedly lift, push or move 40 to 60 pounds, sometimes up to 100 pounds
- Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed
- A year of delivery experience, familiarity with hand trucks, and food/beverage background are a plus, along with steady work history
