About this job
Our company is looking for a local CDL-A driver to deliver to convenience stores and gas stations in a tractor-trailer, with no lift gate involved. You'll be home every night, working a typical four-day week.
Pay
- Starting at $354.75 per day
- $200 bi-weekly attendance bonus
- Monthly cash incentives through a Driver of the Month program, with an annual trip for top performers
Schedule and home time
- Monday through Friday is typical, 5am start until the route is finished
- Sleep in your own bed every night, with rare exceptions
- Occasional overnight routes may come up
What you'll haul
- Deliveries to roughly 10 convenience stores and gas stations per day
- Freight comes off a 28-foot pup trailer, moved by hand truck down a ramp
- No lift gate on these trailers
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 3 years of CDL driving experience
- Able to meet DOT standards
- Comfortable lifting up to 80 lbs now and then
- Strong customer service skills and a professional appearance
- Able to manage paperwork and collect payment when required
