About this job
Our company, a FedEx Ground contractor based in New Haven, IN, is hiring delivery drivers for its growing local team. No CDL is needed, and the company trains qualified applicants and supplies the delivery vehicle.
Pay
- Starting at $140 per day, paid weekly by direct deposit
- Extra earning opportunities include a $200 monthly bonus for drivers with a For-Hire endorsement, a $150 monthly service and safety bonus, a $10 bonus per late pickup, a $200 referral bonus, a $100 Peak season bonus, $1 per stop after 90 stops, and an optional Sunday incentive
Schedule
- Tuesday through Saturday, starting around 8:00 AM
- Routes generally run 6 to 10 hours depending on volume
What you'll do
- Drive a company-supplied FedEx vehicle to deliver packages to homes and businesses
- Load and unload packages, follow your GPS route, and scan deliveries with a handheld device
- Complete a vehicle check each day and follow FedEx safety rules
- Treat customers professionally along your route
Requirements
- At least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving history
- Able to pass a background check, drug test, and DOT physical
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds on your own and handling packages up to 150 pounds with help or a hand truck
- Comfortable with a physical, fast-moving workday
- Prior delivery experience (FedEx, Amazon, UPS, DHL, USPS, or similar) is a plus but not required
