Local CDL-A Delivery Driver — $25–27/hr, Home Daily

Our company is hiring a local CDL-A delivery driver out of its Peoria, AZ retail branch, delivering compressed gas cylinders to business customers using a company-provided straight or box truck. You will be home every day and work a steady Monday through Friday schedule.

Pay

• $25 to $27 per hour, with the potential for monthly bonus incentives

Home time

• Monday-Friday schedule, home daily

What you'll haul

• Compressed gas cylinders delivered to and picked up from local and regional business customers

• You'll load, unload and track cylinders on a manifest, get customer signatures, and bring back empty, rejected or unsold cylinders to the branch or plant for refilling

• Some warehouse and dock work is also part of the role

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and current medical card

• Hazmat endorsement, or willingness to get one

• At least 1 year of Class A driving experience in the last 5 years, or a diploma from an accredited driving school in place of experience

• Clean driving record: no more than 2 convictions or 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years, or no more than 1 of each

• Minimum age 21

• Able to read safety data sheets

• Able to lift 25-75 lbs regularly, and 76-125+ lbs occasionally with equipment assistance

• Able to drive with hazardous cargo for shifts up to 8 hours, with frequent bending

• Comfortable working independently under deadline pressure

• Willing to obtain forklift certification
