About this job
Our company in Albany, NY is looking for a local CDL-A company driver. You'll run local routes and be home every day, with manual transmission trucks (13- and 18-speed) in the fleet.
Pay
- Weekly pay ranges from $1,400 to $2,200, depending on your location
- Quarterly safety bonus of $250
- $1,500 bonus for referring a driver
- Detention pay included
- Paid weekly by direct deposit
Home time
You'll be home daily on local routes.
Equipment
Late-model trucks are provided, and drivers get a monthly cell phone stipend.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Must be able to operate manual transmissions (13- and 18-speed)
- Hazmat endorsement needed, or willingness to get one
- Experience with walking floor, dump trailer, roll-off, or pneumatic trailers is a plus, but training is available for the right person
- Some positions may also require a Hazmat endorsement or passport before you can start
