About this job
Our company is hiring a local Class A bulk tanker driver based in Charleston, TN. You will haul liquid nitrogen, oxygen, argon, CO2 and hydrogen to customer sites and be home every day. The schedule is a steady 5/2 with a stable team.
What you'll do
- Inspect your rig before and after each trip and report what you find
- Drop and hook trailers when the job calls for it
- Hook up and disconnect transfer hoses and work safely with cryogenic tanks and fittings
- Watch pressure and temperature while unloading
- Follow safety procedures during every loading and unloading
- Keep shipping papers, logbooks and records accurate and in line with DOT rules
- Flag vehicle repair and maintenance needs promptly
- Some deliveries may be to government facilities that require extensive background checks and tighter security

Requirements
- Class A CDL
- High school diploma or GED
- Either 3 years of tractor-trailer driving or 2 years of verifiable tanker trailer experience
