Regional CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Weekly

Our company is hiring regional tractor-trailer drivers at its Midway, Tennessee facility. You are paid per mile, get home every week and have consecutive days off each week, and the freight is no-touch. Regional drivers can earn up to $110,000 in their first year.

Pay

• Mileage rate of $0.55 to $0.69 per mile; actual pay depends on location and miles driven.

• Extra activity pay applies on top of mileage for things like hooks, live loads, layovers, stops, chains, evening shifts and weekend miles.

• Some situations pay activity pay only, such as breakdowns, weather or road closures, wait time and accidents.

• Paid time off, safety days, holidays and similar days are paid at an Average Day's Pay of $240.

• Quarterly safety bonuses and yearly raises.

Home time

• Home weekly, with consecutive days off every week.

What you'll do

• Plan your day with your team and keep loads moving safely and on time.

• Keep your paperwork and electronic logs accurate and follow DOT, state and company rules.

• Inspect your tractor-trailer before, during and after each trip.

• Follow optimized routes, obeying traffic laws and local restrictions.

Requirements

• Class A CDL with a Hazmat endorsement and cleared background check, or you get the endorsement within 120 days of hire.

• 30 months of full-time Class A driving in the last 3 years.

• Last 3 years: no more than two moving violations, no serious violations, no preventable accidents.

• Last 10 years: no preventable DOT recordable accidents. No preventable accident with a fatality or catastrophic injury at any time.

• You live within 250 miles of the facility, or move within that distance within 90 days of hire.
