About this job
Our company is looking for experienced CDL-A company drivers to deliver brand-new Freightliner trucks to dealerships and fleet customers across the country. You move the trucks themselves, with no freight to haul. Based out of Murfreesboro, TN.
What the job is
- You drive new trucks to their destinations: no trailers, no live loads, no dock waiting.
- Each night you sleep in a company-paid hotel instead of a sleeper cab.
- When a delivery is done, the company flies you back to the terminal for your next assignment.
- Fuel, tolls, hotels and flights are all covered, and you keep the airline and hotel points.
Pay
- $2,000 to $2,200 a week, with about $2,000 a week as the stated average.
- Paid orientation and paid training.
Time out
- Expect to be away 2–3 weeks at a time.
Requirements
- CDL-A license.
- At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- Manual transmission experience.
- Flatbed, open deck or OTR background is a plus; a doubles/triples endorsement is preferred.
