Local CDL-A/B Dedicated Driver — Home Daily, Up to $90,000/Year

J.B. Hunt has a local Dedicated Contract Services opening in Perth Amboy, NJ for a CDL-A or CDL-B driver. You'll run consistent freight for one customer and be home every day, with pay built on an activity-based plan.

Pay

• $0.38 to $0.42 per mile

• $28 to $29 per live stop

• $28 to $29 per refused load or trailer move

• Detention pay of $16 per hour after the first hour

• $1.14 per piece for handling materials

• $225 to $300 per day for off-account work

• $15 per hour for miscellaneous tasks

• $180 per day while training

• $20 per hour for safety training

• $160 per day for holidays

• Drivers in this role have averaged $90,000 a year over the past six to twelve months; actual earnings depend on things like completed training, paid breaks, endorsements, tenure, equipment and days worked

• May qualify for performance or safety-related bonuses

Home time

You're home daily in this dedicated position, with onsite management support and paid online orientation.

Requirements

• Class A or Class B CDL

• At least 3 months of trucking experience
