About this job
DBF Solutions is hiring delivery drivers out of its Raleigh and New Hill, NC terminals to run FedEx Ground and FedEx Priority Overnight routes. You can choose full-time route work paid per stop, or a shorter part-time morning shift paid by the hour.
Pay
- Full-time: $1.50 per stop, which typically works out to $150-$225+ a day depending on route volume
- Part-time: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Schedule
- Full-time: five days a week including a weekend day (either Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday), plus up to an hour of prep time at the terminal before you head out
- Part-time: Monday-Friday, about four hours a day from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with weekends optional, and 30 minutes of prep time beforehand
What you'll haul
- Full-time routes carry 100-150+ packages a day, some as heavy as 150 lbs, so you'll need to lift and maneuver larger items with the right equipment
- Part-time routes cover 30-50 stops a day with packages up to 60 lbs
Requirements
- At least 21 years old with a valid driver's license (no CDL needed)
- Full-time applicants need 2+ years of pickup-and-delivery experience in the past 3 years; part-time applicants need at least 1 year in the past 3 years
- Comfortable lifting and handling packages at the weights listed above
- Must clear a background check, DOT physical and drug test
- A clean driving history, reliability, good communication and a team mindset are expected
