DZ Roll-Off Driver — $30–$35/hr

This is a full-time DZ roll-off driver / boom truck operator role based out of London, Ontario, with work also in Cambridge, Ontario. You'll need prior hands-on experience running a roll-off truck to be considered.

Pay

• $30.00-$35.00 per hour, depending on experience

• Overtime kicks in past 44 hours in a week

• Expect 40 to 55 hours weekly

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, starting around 5:00 AM until the day's routes are done

• Some Saturdays may be needed

What you'll do

• Run roll-off trucks and boom equipment across job sites, handling Better Bins, roll-off containers and in-ground waste systems

• Load, position and secure containers safely

• Do pre-trip and post-trip checks, keep logs and paperwork current

• Flag any equipment problems or unsafe situations right away

• Stay in contact with dispatch and customers while keeping routes moving

Requirements

• Valid DZ licence

• At least 2 years driving commercially, with real experience operating a roll-off truck specifically

• Comfortable with manual transmissions

• Able to lift as much as 50 lbs and handle physical work outdoors in all weather, including active construction sites

• Own steel-toed boots and other safety gear

• Able to work both the London and Cambridge locations as scheduling requires

Nice to have

• Crane ticket for 0-8 tonne equipment

• Tri-axle dump truck background

• High school diploma or GED
