About this job
Our company is hiring a DZ delivery driver and boom/Moffett operator for its Commercial Roofing branch in Puslinch, ON. You'll deliver building materials like drywall, steel framing, insulation and shingles to job sites, with no weekend runs and evenings off.
Pay
This role pays $28–$32 an hour, with the exact rate based on your experience.
Home time
No deliveries on weekends, and you'll be home in the evenings.
What you'll haul
You'll transport building supplies such as drywall, steel framing components, insulation, acoustic ceilings, shingles and masonry products to contractor and job site locations, loading and unloading using a boom truck or Moffett.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Class D license with Z air brake endorsement
- Working at Heights certificate is a plus
- Moffett experience preferred, but training is available
- Clean driver's abstract and good CVOR record
- 1-2 years of related experience, ideally in construction
- Reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable communicating with coworkers and customers
